Ages 16+

Trees are a favorite art subject for members of NEBG. Let’s get together and create some tree art! Use pen and ink, plus watercolors to create beautifully contrasted tree compositions together. Play with colors to create trees of all seasons or trees from a fantasy world. Let your imagination run wild with inspiration from the trees here at New England Botanic Garden.

We will work on two different tree projects together with demonstrations and teacher guidance throughout. We will take a half hour break for lunch at 12:15pm and return the finish the class at 12:45pm. You may bring your own lunch or purchase your own in the Farmer and the Fork cafe.

Paper, pencils, pens, ink, brushes, and paints are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. Your paintings will be yours to keep. Pencils, pens, ink, brushes, and paints will be returned. A supplies list will be provided should you choose to purchase your own after the workshop.

No experience necessary. This is intended to be a fun and relaxing workshop with no expectations.
