All ages

The gnomes are coming! The gnomes are coming! Gnomevember 2025 is just around the corner at New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill. For the entire month of November, come explore the gardens and find the dozens of hand-painted gnomes, with art created by local artists, including yours truly.

You’ll see my past gnomes and also the newest of the bunch, Brambleclaw, the protector of predators, featuring 9 different predator species native to New England. Predators are an essential part of natural ecosystems, keeping everything in balance, preventing over-population of prey species and assisting in keeping plants and trees growing healthy and strong. Their greatest threats are from human activity including habitat loss, climate change, and the use of rodenticides (rat poison). This gnome is their protector and representative. You may even hear her howling with the coyotes as night falls at the edges of the forest.

Check out this video on Instagram and Facebook with a 360° view of Brambleclaw.

Be sure to come to the gardens during November to find all of the gnomes! This is a fun family-friendly activity for all to enjoy. We hope to see you there!
