The Worcester State University Mary Cosgrove Dolphin Gallery presents FLORA & FAUNA. Two of my pieces, “Sierra Nevada Red Fox” and “Snow in Autumn” will be part of this exhibition. I’m so excited to see all of the amazing nature-inspired art by local Worcester, MA area artists. Here is what the gallery has to say about this show:
Symbiotic coexistence is essential for all life to thrive on our planet. We tend to suppress our inherent codependency and connectedness with nature, resisting the instinctual drive to be one with the natural world. In doing so, we sometimes forgo the opportunity for deeper understanding of our world and how we situate ourselves within it. Acknowledging and appreciating the relationship we have with plants and animals supplies us with an abundance of inspiration and subject matter to explore within art making.
