In the Winter Garden

This spring, New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill is celebrating art in the great outdoors! For four weekends in April and May, local artists will be setting up their studios en plein air (outdoors) to show how they work and how the gardens inspire their art. I will be one of those artists!
On Saturday, May 6th, from 1pm-3pm, watch me work in watercolors and other mixed-medias and ask questions about my process. I’ll have some of my studio tools, sketchbooks to look at, and a new piece I’ll be painting live and in-person. I will be working in The Winter Garden, just outside the Orangerie, near the famous turtle fountains featuring Eastern Box Turtles, Castor and Pollux.
