A delightfully small piece of art to celebrate the tiniest pieces of nature! This pint-sized watercolor called “Lilacana” depicts the lilac fibrecap mushroom (Inocybe geophylla var. lilacana) which is naturally a light purple (lilac) coloring. These delightful little fungus are common in the U.K. and also found in North America.

This painting has another fun element—sparkles! In just the right light at just the right angle, there is a light shimmer upon these magical mycelium, as if they’ve been kissed by the faeries. 

Painted with watercolors and iridescent watercolors on hot pressed 300lb. paper.

This is an ORIGINAL painting, not a reproduction. The art itself measures approximately 2.5x3.5” in size. It is matted up to 4x6”, with a total frame size of about 5x7”. I have added a picture hanging wire on the back to easily place it on a wall. But, it also has a fold-out stand on the back if you prefer to keep it on a desktop. I will ship this carefully wrapped up via USPS.
