White Faery Costume - Photo Shoot 1

Victoria Chapman © 2007 - White Faery Costume Design & Creation
This costume of the White Faery is an original design and all elements are completely original and handcrafted. This costume was designed as part of this website you're looking at. I had an idea in my head for a long time before I implimented it, which involved a flowing mystical figure in a water-like landscape. The idea evolved and the flowing and water-like concepts stayed and the addition of the fae folk came into to play later.
The dress is composed of white crushed velvet with white posh lining, white stretch lace sleeves, accents, and skirt inserts, white satin twist cord, silver eyelets, and white ribbon lacing. The wings are a sheer irridescent material hung on a galvanized steel frame of an original design. The hip chain consists of silver plated chain of multiple sizes, two sizes of multiple jewelry bells, silver plated small feathers, glass crystal beads, and a quartz crystal wrapped stone. The head chain is made of silver plated chain, glass crystal beads, and silver plated filigree accents attached with two hair combs and with matching earrings. All makeup and hair were done by me.
