Created out of a wanting feeling to grow wings and fly, a girl looks back over her winged back as if about to fly but realizing the hidden reality that the wings are only a figment of her imagination and longing. This image was created by drawing on a lithograph limestone slab, etched, and printed on paper with purple ink.
