I'm excited to tell you that Weyakin Designs will now have products for sale in Northampton, MA spiritual shop Inspirit Common. Very soon, look for my original art prints, art magnets, greeting cards, art jewelry, stone/bead jewelry and elven head circlets at Inspirit Common. If you're in Downtown Northampton, pop on in and check it out! Inspirit Common is a unique gift store, offering metaphysical and spiritual tools, stones/crystals, jewelry, art, cards, books, music and other interesting items from local crafters and around the world. They also offer services and classes including life readings, yoga and belly dance classes and special events.

Weyakin Designs Spring 2010 Update

While quiet on the blog and on the news here, I have been quite active otherwise over the past several months. I am currently back to doing more freelance graphic and web design work, since my full-time job became the victim of the bad economy, like so many others. While searching for full-time work, I am also actively doing many projects with Weyakin Designs.

Most recently, I launched a new site with talented and artistic landscapers, Old Farms Landscaping, Inc.. Old Farms Landscaping is from Granby, CT and serves the Farmington Valley area. This is their first time jumping onto the web. They are wonderful people to work with and I'm sure you'll find the same, if you are ever in need of custom designed landscapes. I've also been working a lot on new product for my Etsy shop and craft side of my business. Check out what new things have shown up lately.

And lastly, I've been making great use of my time working on new art and also new mediums. I've taken up a passion for the art of batik over the past few months. Finding a great deal of enjoyment in it, I'm now working on a new line of batik items for my shop. Be looking for those to show up soon!
