Victoria Chapman, also known as Vicki, is an artist of many trades, including graphic and web design, illustration, photography, fine art, costume design and craft as well as seamstress skills and jewelry making. Holding a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, Vicki graduated from the University of Connecticut in May of 2004 from the illustration program there. While earning her degree, Vicki also gained experience as a graphic and web designer for the university's Web Development Lab for four years. Because of the knowledge gained in traditional art, illustration, and photography as well as the more modern knowledge of the graphics area, Vicki's skills are diverse and adaptable.

Up until recently, Vicki worked full-time as a web designer for Tortus Technologies in West Springfield, MA. At Tortus, she used the latest in accessible web design including CSS and XHTML and payed close attention to web standards and useability when creating sites for Tortus' clients. Previous to working for Tortus, Vicki worked as an independent contractor for Positronic Design in Holyoke, MA. There she created various designs for web and print, spending over 2 years growing with Positronic. Simultaneously, she also did various freelance work as Weyakin Designs and continues to do so now.

Independently, Vicki is also a musician and has had experience in most areas of the arts at some time or another. She spends non-working time writing music, playing the keyboards, hammered dulcimer, Native American flutes, percussion, and singing. In the past, she has also been involved in both stage crew and scenic design for theatre and has played semi-major roles in several musicals. While she has not recently been involved in the theatre, she still uses the skills she has learned from that experience in her other work.

Other interests Vicki holds include veganism, environmentalism, spiritual and occult subjects, plants, outdoors activities, reading, meditation, divination (Tarot, Runes), and a long-time love of wolves. Vicki is a certified Advanced Reiki practitioner in the Usui Tradition and sometimes volunteers for Reiki Nights at the Cancer Connection in Florence, Massachusetts. She lives in Greenfield, MA with her husband David. Vicki and David are currently working together on a new music project. They are also working to transform their home into a sustainable homestead.
